I AGREE with some parts keep in mind tho Mayweather defense is compeltely different to Clotteys

also Oscar De lahoya, Ricky Hatton, Emmanuel Augustus did not land significant punches on the ropes....

      don't remember it either.

i don't think floyd would throw it against a southpaw.

way too open to a straight left or overhand left if you do it to a southpaw.

i agree. compared to clottey's, floyd's defense is even more open to southpaws.

Am I supposed to be impressed that Manny went 51 minutes on the mitts?

Very impressive, but Floyd's not a fighter you can count on out working by sheer stamina, or hustle. He's going to fight his fight regardless of what you do.

Both of these guys have Spartan like cardio workout regiments. I'd pick both to go 15 rounds easy.

I dont think Packy will incorporate that into his training
that is a counterpunchers gameplan and pac is not a counterpuncher
that is a more defensive mind set and paky is all offense
most of pacquiao's most damaging punches lately are counter punches.

his knockdown of jmm in the rematch , his 1st knockdown of morales in the 3rd fight , his 1st knockdown of hatton , his 2nd knockdown of cotto......

just because pacquiao is an offensive fighter doesn't mean he doesn't counter punch.

              Adobostreak,
              I'm a pac dude,and I can't stand Mayweather who I think is a prick.

But you should do your homeworks and watch some Floyd's fights.

Floyd doesn't stand here like a punching bag(Clottey).
He moves a lot,and counters more viciously than Clottey.

That being,Clottey is much tougher than Floyd.
And those body punches iced Clottey.

I think Manny can maul Floyd.
Kinda like Calzaghe vs B Hop,except Manny has decent power at WW.

I assume they'll be doing one of these for Pacquiao's weaknesses as well or are they taking the Ring magazine route of Pac-Man brown-nosing.

no check hook is stepping back. Article writer is talking about when Floyd springs forward with his left hook. Two completely different things.

                      it's not a check hook.

two different things. one is a counter , one is a leaping hook.
