the only fight recent fight he showed any stamina issues was in the Williams fight and Williams is a pressure fighter who sticks with you till the very last second of the 12th round all the mean while throwing over a thousand punches.

Pavlik is a pressure fighter who plots forward and only releases flurries when fighters are against the ropes. This fight will be fought at a slower, more comfortable pace for Martinez. Stamina will be no issue here. He just has to steer clear of Pavlik's right hand.

I am surprised so many people are taking Martinez. Kelly has been a dominate middleweight, and he was a bit exposed against Bhop, but he also moved up 10 pounds for that fight and Hopkins is one of the most crafty fighters in the world, if not the most. I think Pavlik is becoming underrated.

Pavlik rose to boxing fame because he was dominant over opponents who all believed they were stronger, harder hitters than Pavlik, feeling that they could **** with him. Fighters who utilized no movement or angles at all.

Then came Hopkins who showed different angles and lateral movement and Pavlik was completely lost. This had nothing to do with weight and more to do with styles.

Even in the Taylor rematch, Pavlik wasn't as effective and barely won that fight. Taylor fought smarter, actually utilized a more strategic method boxing from the outside to the best of his ability.

This fight will be all about the styles.

i honestly think americans overrate pavlik and martinez will show just how one dimensional he is. the truth is hes just a bum who was lucky taylor gasses out late in fights. you yankees will get a rude awakening in this fight and I can't wait.
