the fights gonna suck, it's a mismatch if you ask me. you have a super heavyweight fighting a regular heavyweight with no power. nothing against chambers but he's over matched and basically a dead man walking.

vitali is somewhat exciting, at least he throws punches and tries to get his fighters out of there. wlad on the other hand, is boring, doesn't take any risks, doesn't trade with his opponents, and clinches about as much as john ruiz.
nothing worse then watching a over cautious giant......... shrek has more aggression in him then wlad.

hbo is probably tired of getting burned by wlad, i bet they've lost a **** ton of money on them as well as jermain taylor........

They aired the Vitali/Johnson fight, which i would defniitely describe as "dead air". I'm sure it didnt have the best effect on their ratings, so I understand why they passed up on the this one.

The whole "they are boring" excuse is a poor one because they put boring fighters on PPV all of the time, I mean FFS they put Hopkins/Wright on PPV.

What did you think you were going to get with two guys who claim to have the best defense in the game?

It wasn't Vitali's fault - Johnson turned out to be a very unworthy opponent, he tried to simply survive, but not to win.

Let's not forget, Vitali-Arreola had the best ratings of any HBO fight in 2009.

HBO can't stand the fact that an American HW is not ruling the division or even has a aplhabet strap......if Eddie gets lucky, and I mean REALLY lucky and win.....they'll jump on the rights to televise it but its a shame they won't televise this fight live......sometime announcers use brain washing tactics so viewers can share their same beliefs....BOXING is a science....hit and don't get hit.....Wlad does that but he's constantly bashed by Larry Merchant and many others here for excelling in the science......so in other words....HBO says its boring to be smart!!
