i actually thought that Valero was slightly overrated until his last fight

he showed a versatility that i didnt think he had...lateral movement, setting up his punches with the jab...he adapted

at the same time, he also displayed championship grit by being able to buckle down and execute a Plan B after suffering that nasty gash

I give props to valero, there is no other with all pro fights all knockouts, and he respects other boxers, being in politics, himself

I like Valero, but I try and keep it real about his potential. He hasn't fought anyone near elite level yet, and until he does I'm not fully convinced.

We obviously watched completely different fights.

              Valero is a joke..

How can you be a 2 division champion where the best fighters in your resume is a Pituala and a DeMarco?

That power is real. Very rare cases you could say world champion as overrated... this is not one of them. He is just exciting to watch.

If anything, his defense is underrated. Watch his last fight again without bias and tell me if he has no D.

Let's be fair though, most of that fight the other guy seemed terrified. It's the whole tyson thing all over again, what happens when he fights a bigger guy, with good chin, good defence and counter punching, who isn't afraid of him?

we don't know but it could be bad news.

This. 27 wins and 27 ko's is something to get hopeful about in modern boxing and his last performance was a great sign of things to come. I don't believe he'll be an hall of famer but he's exciting, wants to knock the **** out of people and can take a punch. What more can you want as a fan?
