Why is this relevant? Well, thats the same day the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant near Pripyat experienced the horrible meltdown which caused large areas in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia to be badly contaminated with radiation, resulting in the evacuation and resettlement of over 336,000 people.

One of those people was baby Alfonso Gomez as he was known to his real family, AlfonsiviK Gomeliankovich, Unfortunately, he, along with his original family, were severely contaminated and they experienced a slow, painful, horrific death...........except for little Alfonsivik.

Since then Top Rank got ahold of him, changed his name to Alfonso Gomez, slapped the Mexican flag on him and started marketing him to the latino market. Even though he is immune to the radiation he was exposed to, his body, however has acted like a conductor radiating this poison on to his opponents who later in their career begin to experience the the effects of it..

Spectacular. Any relation to Tye Fields?

But how do you explain his utter domination of Castillo? the Chernobyl accident must have given him super natural boxing skills too...
Growing up as a radioactive orphan, Alfonso had to learn to fight as an infant, often against wolves and bears, who were radioactive themselves. When you watch him fight, wait for him to move towards a darker corner of the ring, you'll see his eyes glow, but if you look deep into his soul, you'll see a scared kid face to face with a grizzly with nothing but his two fists to defend himself.

This alfonso guy is the only celebrity tv boxer who is a bad ass, beating real mccoy boxers. That other one didnt do too well against joe calzaghe if i remember, being stopped in the first or second round.

I'd hate to see what the findings would do to the boxing community that is already divided as is.

New divisions, new belts... it could get ugly

Just hope he doesn't decide to fight Morales. Your hero's career would be over for good!

Fighters who dare step in to the ring with Gomez have waaay to much courage for their own good.
