Pacquiao vs Alexander would look a lot like...........

Green K for the avatar, my man.
I think Alexander's problem at the moment is that he's a bit a stiff at times and has a tendency to pull out with his head up in the air, as Cunningham pointed out after the first round of the Urango fight. Granted, he stopped Urango in impressive fashion, but Urango was able to close the gap at times, and Urango has nowhere near the combination of power and speed of Pacquiao. Also, Witter was able to land here and there on him, mostly when he was a southpaw, IIRC.
Still, I like Alexander, he just needs to iron out some flaws.Last edited by Shadows; 03-17-2010, 04:32 PM.Comment

It's not even so much losing against pac as it is getting several hurt and possibly damaged. I'm not gonna say this will happen for sure, but it's possible that Pac would put a Trinidad over David Reid type beating on Devon. With Pac's power and speed at 140, combined with Alexanders flaws....this one could get very ugly.Comment

Alexander looks very good right now, but throwing him in there with Pacquiao would be foolish. I don't know why anyone would want Pacquiao to fight him.Comment

yeah I agree with all of this. I just think in a year or so Devon will most defiantly be ready, but not now. I just want to see Alexander continue to improve and not be rushed too fast.Green K for the avatar, my man.

Not calling you racist, but why bring up race. Someone would get slammed for doing it and making Pac look bad. Valero's up and coming, and not proven at 140-147, and would probably be ruined by Pac, but that fight would ok by you right?Calzaghe vs Lacy and Trinidad vs Reid in the sense that you would have a young african american up and coming fighter with a lot of promise, getting ruined by an elite fighter.
Believe me when I say this, Team Pac is doing Alexander a huge favor by not fighting him this fall. Don't get me wrong, Devon is improving fast, but he has a ways to go and it makes no sense ruining a kid by putting him in there with the Pacman.Comment
