Not true. Floyd respects Manny behind the scenes but in front of the camera he will put him down because it will sell the fight. Someone has to play the bad guy and Floyd is more than willing to do it.

Fights don't sell as well when there is a neutral guy and a good guy. Humans love the villain and hero match up. Floyd is just playing to the role.
