i do agree with the reporters about the fact that manny was there for clottey to hit him if only clottey took the chance, but what would actually happen if clottey even attempted to launch an attack against the pacman, in order to do that means getting out of his defensive shell....

would it change the complexion of the fight that night?

what's your thoughts on this guys???

He does his ugly brawling style which slick fighters having been making him pay for--Morales, Marquez, and in the near future Mayweather.

It probably would have meant Clottey would have got KTFO or maybe pulled the upset by hitting Pac with something hard. Either one would hve been better than staying in a shell all night knowing you're going to lose a decision.

If Clottey would have opened up more I'm sure Pac/Roach would adjust to include more movement and countering. They know that if Pac stayed flat footed and kept on the attack Clottey wouldn't come out of that shell. If he didn it would have been a better fight but I think he'd have gotten KO'ed. Almost every time he opened up and landed on Pac, Pac retaliated with effective hits that found Clottey's chin.

PAC, I believe, didn't even bring his A-game to that fight. Clottey did get some good shots on him but he was standing in there, pretty much, daring Clottey to fight him. He even Ate a couple punches just to lure Clottey out of his shell. I think If Clottey opened up, Pac wouldn't have been as easy to hit.

there were alottt more openings than the ones he took..He did NOT feint...if he feinted in that fight he could have won it because pac was waiting for the milisecond his guard dropped to unleash..Everytime clottey opened up he connected..I think floyd will do some damage.

              1. His defense allows him to see everything. He will see the openings and elude the incoming..

              2. Pacs style is even sloppier when he is falling foward chasing a guy. he tends to reach in

              3. Pac does his best work when guys are coming at him or covered in front of him. floyd will be on the move all night.

all in all clottey could have opened up more especially if he feinted he was just to much of a pacquiao fan that nite there was no fire in the guy

Clottey had 12 rounds of chances......but Pacquiao isn't BOB THE BOXING DUMMY.

I don't know, but the punches he did land beat Pac up quite a bit. If Clottey had opened up more who knows what would have happened? He could have possibly pulled the upset.
