If you go back to the thread with the quotes i clearly stated that those comments were not from Mayweather but people chose to ignore it and ran around gloating with it. People here seem to just want to say anything negative about the guy even when its not true. Why so much hate?

Why so much hate??? Are you serious about this question?? Where are your values? When a person accuses another of being a steroid user with no evidence whatsoever that person is in the wrong and deserves to be hated. And you Championart are the biggest hypocrite. Why should Floyd have to watch the fight? It's no secret that Pacquiao doesn't know how to box. He's just a fast fighter who hits hard. Why do you have to scout that? He has no defense he gets hit by everybody. There is no reason to scout this guy. Pacquiao is the one that has to scout Mayweather. He's never fought a guy like Mayweather before. Please *******s your idol your god is not that important to Mayweather sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Sweety316, no need to apologize. We all know Floyd is a ducker who will never fight Pac. Good thing he did not watch the Clottey fight because whatever courage he can muster to decide to fight Pac will be extinguished. The mouthy quacker ducker knows he cannot beat the Pacman and he knows that he will get hurt. Humans have coping mechanisms to make harsh reality palatable. Delusions is one of them and one that Kentucky Floyd Chicken is using.

Everyone gets duped once in a while, first hand or second hand. The real point is, we actually went out there to verify it and then posted a retraction. Mayweather's team did NOT want a retraction. They just wanted the news brief taken down because the interview was fabricated. I told them it was our duty to inform the readers the interview was fake. From what I know, we were the only outlet to even send Team Mayweather the quotes for verification. Nobody, other than us, has written a retraction about the interview and I doubt few places will.

Things like this may happen when u have so called moderators pledging allegiance to a single group of fighters. But, then again, PBf probably creates the most traffic on all boxing sites so this may have been a financial move.
Either way, the correction was made.

Earlier today, two members of Team Mayweather reached out to BoxingScene.com to set the record straight regarding an alleged interview circulating all over the internet with Floyd Mayweather Jr. From what I was told, the interview, which calls Pacquiao a one-dimensional fighter and downplays his performance against Joshua Clottey - is 100% fabricated. The interview first originated on a website called Cage Report. Numerous websites and overseas newspapers have used quotes from the interview.
