How did Manny know Floyd was going to turn down the 24 day cutoff compromise?

    Easy.

Because Floyds original stance was zero days.

Roach also said 5 days was cool.

So Pac offered 24 days...Thats a far cry from 5.

When he saw the responses of all the credible people that have associated themselves in this mess, i.e. the doctors. Bob Arum, Freddie Roach, the NASC, baseless superstitions. There shouldn't be a compromise for drug testing. Either do it right, or do it at all. We were told that blood testing affects him then leading up to this fight, he's sparring for 9+ rounds the next day after the blood test. I have more faith in Miss Cleo's version of facts that I ever will for whatever comes from the Top Rank camp.

Manny's original stance was no random blood testing at all. It wouldn't be strange if Mayweather had accepted 24 days, and random urine testing.

Yeah i know that drug testing should be done properly and i agree with Mayweather. But you can't say that Pac knew Floyd wasn't going to agree to 24 days, that's the point.

what's the difference between 14 days and 24 days anyway? Maybe with 10 days less time Manny would go back to being an "ordinary" fighter again... lol.

He didn't turn it down, he offered 14 days. Which is a far greater compromise than the pathetic 24 days Pacquiao offered.

            Try again mate.

              24 days, 14 days what's the difference?

Maybe Manny was planning some 10 day steroid cycle which would give him speed, power and chin.. lol

And im not on Manny's side if you thought so, i just think the whole 14 days/24 days disagreement is ******ed. One of the fighters should have just gone with the other fighter's compromise, cause 10 days wouldn't make a difference anyway.

wait I was of the understanding that once Golden Boy showed proof that Manny had his lood drawn prior to the original 30 days Manny had asked for that it was Manny's side who said they could do 24 days then Floyd countered with 14?

Doesn't matter how they came up with 24 days... Seriously Pac is a ****** for not agreing to 14 days, but at the same time, Mayweather wouldn't have lost anything by agreeing to 24 days..

Steroid Cycle + removing the traces in the blood, in a period of 24 days? unlikely.

Manny is the man who should be blamed the most for not making the fight happen though...

you keep asking "what's the difference between 24 and 14 days?"

you should go ask top rank. they were the ones who turned down the fight b/c of it.
