As a loyal and proud Margarito fan as you all know I don't think he deserves this fight at this time. Innocent or guilty Margarito has a lot to prove and has to at least work his way up somewhat before landing a mega fight against Pac, needs to at least fight 2 comeback fights and maybe capture a belt again, he needs to prove to everyone he is still capable of beating his opponents and clearing his name against all the haters who insist on thinking he has cheated throughout his whole career.

Having said that I don't think Tony could pull and upset against Pac, the speed difference is enormous and that will frustrate and confuse Tony I believe, however the size difference is obvious and as far as throwing punches we know he will bring it on and pressure Pac, his chin (if it's still somewhat viable) will also help his chances and won't quit like Cotto or stay in a defensive shield like Clottey. Out of all of Pac's previous opponents this will be his biggest test and a fight he could very well lose if Margarito is still solid and not completely shot (which I don't believe he is anyway). Do I think Tony will win? not really, but he's got more of a chance to win, and wouldn't be a boring fight, it would be a war.

At this point Pac would dismantle Margarito. This fight works as a last resort, but I'm hoping Pac tries for the Shane-PBF winner first.

Ofcourse he's willing 2 go aynwhere 2 fight Pacquiao. What other big money fights does he have outthere? A Cotto rematch? Not gonna happen. Cotto won't help put any money in that cheaters pockets. Pacquiao? Only reason he has a shot at fighting Manny is because Bob Arums greedy ass promotes the both of them. He wouldn't have 2 share any promo money with another promoter. & if Manny ****s around & loses, Bob still wins because he promotes Margarito & he will have just beaten the #1 fighter in the sport. Can't blame Tony 4 anything, he's just runnin his yap trying 2 get a fight. I aint mad at that. Arum is the 1 to blame 4 this crap even being discussed. I bet he's the 1 that's pushing 4 this 2 go down. & Unless Shane beats Floyd (which is not gonna happen) I don't see Manny going in an other direction. 4get Mayweather, I have it in my mind that their not going 2 fight.

Margarito should not be allowed to fight anyone. He almost killed Cotto by cheating....

I think its Cotto who is afraid to show the world that the loss wasn't a fluke.

Mayweather will pick Pacquaio apart considering his defense is far more superior than Clottey's and he's the best counterpuncher in the sport of boxing. If Clottey had increased his punch output he could've walked away with the upset. However it's not in his nature to be the busier fighter, which we've witnessed in the past. Money would and will dominate Pac-Man.
Precisely you're just looking at the picture when you commented but not analytical enough of the actual situation! Clottey was indeed defensive in his previous fights but could be offensive too which almost cost Cotto from winning, but Clottey did to Pacquiao was all rounds defenses and no remarkable offenses made! And Clottey did not intend to defend himself for survival all rounds but Pacquiao offenses forced him to do defenses all rounds! Clottey simply could not fire back much but rather, cover from rapid fires from Pac, and yes, didn't hit him much despites of all those outputs from Pac but that the essence, Pac riddles Clottey on his shield to the extent even clottey's finger if be extended from his shield could be hit from rapid fires!

Mayweather have also that fast hands but if Clottey and Cotto could not hurt Pac how can Floyd hurt Pac??? I mean, Floyd is way lagged behind from the 2 when it comes to power punches, and this is the danger, don't play fire with Pac when you know you are pillow fisted because if he measures Floyd puches wont hurt him, then Floyd is finished! That's fact! Now, if you said Floyd will pick Pac a part, how could that be? very funny isn't it??? Because the way we look at facts, Pac will ripped Floyd a part and that's more closer to reality than your prediction!

Yes, in my observation too, Pac have problem with counter puncher in the like of JMM! But JMM is only one and the only who gave Pac problem on his offense! But that was when Pac was struggling in his weight at Feather and Superfeather, and right now that Pac in his natural weigt of Welter and all his tools polished he could rip a part JMM even in 135 lbs, IMHO, much more in 140 and 147! Floyd counter punching style is far from JMM styles and Pac would destroy Floyd style! I think JMM will even ripped a part Floyd should they fight at 135lbs!

Its just my opinion, and i know others disagree. But i dont think Margarito should be allowed in the ring again after what he did.
He e****ally doesnt deserve to be such a high profile fight which will make him so much money.
