to be fair, it wasn't "my" estimate. She gave me the number based on the purchase history and the electronic buys.

Thank "D" for the advance notice.

Donate Early Mayweather/Mosley PPV buyrate projection is....

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ...1.4 - 1.5 million buys.

I have a friend at a cable sompany. She works in the VoD group, but she always provides me with estimates.

She said the final nums were a bit softer than last week's projections.

She only has one region of the country, so they project nationals using a formula. It's an inexact science.

If the numbers went crazy in one region, or certain metro areas, it could be a bit higher...or a bit lower. But she said to expect numbers that are generally in line with Delahoya-Pacquiao.

Just some info. Don't ask me for a link. Ignore this info if it has zero credibility with you. No need for snarky commnets.... just sharing what I have.

I used to work for a big CPG firm. And we would test-market our new products in Cedar Rapids. Part of my job was to estimate how much the product would sell all across the country after launch based on how much it sells in, like, 12 stores in friggin' Cedar Rapids.

We would have to order equipment, order packaging, and ingredients MONTHS in advance based on the forecasts, So being wrong carries huge economic risks.

It can be complex stuff, and you need to always be tweaking your forecast models and algorithms.

Actually, her sister is a FWB. The girl who gives me the nums is a chubette. But her sister has possible the tastiest ***** . Absolutely delicious.

You know how almost every girl has a bit of tang? Even just a little? This chick is just wet and silky and just lovely. Which is strange because she drinks and smokes occasionally.

I have learned so much about the sport from you guys. Thank you.

What pisses me off is that when I try to share some info that I have with the tiny *******s, they get so juvenile and ****tional.

              Kinda how Blood says:

Just curious, We know this next PPV will be all on Mayweather's back.

In the words of Freddie Roach.
"Shane is not a draw,Cotto is a bigger draw than Mosley."
                    • So when Mayweather vs. Mosley does better than Pacquiao vs. Cotto

Will some of guys still hold on to the myth that Pacquiao is still the cash cow in the sport??

I am taking any and all bets that Mayweather vs. Shane Mosley will beat any ppv fight Pacquiao has been invovled in.

no hate just trying too stack my points up... damn u reed

No comment of PPV income is...

but if you consider this logic...

KFC vs SSM is an all american fighter that only generate 1.4 while

Pac vs Cotto both non american who surpass a 1M buys...

1.4 PPV is still good but, far from ODLH PPV fight at 2M buys.
