Unlikely since Team Pac knew about that stipulation and waited till the very END of negotiations to make a stink about it. Obviously the rule changes were not a big deal.

Or they could have just said to themselves that they weren't going to let someone who was slandering them dictate terms. Why is it Floyd or NO ONE else was worried about OST before a Pac fight was on the table? He talks of cleaning up the sport, but no mention of any high profile fighters who have actually tested positive before. Why is that? Why is he not SCREAMING for OST for Jones (who has tested Positive) and Hopkins (who at 45 is still considered a top p4p fighter)? The obvious answer is because he doesn't really care. He has tried to use that excuse as a smoke screen.

Good point, but he definitely knew Pac wasn't gonna be happy about it. Pac was interviewed after the Morales fight, basically blaming the loss to the blood drawn from him so close to fight night. No doubt he was using this to get the mental edge against Pac. Basically getting Pac to do what he wants him to do.

What I don't get is why Floyd went to the public (ESPN) telling the whole world that Pac was "refusing" to take the tests, right in the middle of negotiating the testing protocol. He had to have know this was gonna kill or at least, severely damage any chances of the fight happening. He also knew this would cast some doubt and su****ion on Pac. You just don't go public with anything when you're in the middle of negotating a business deal unless you're trying to sabatoge it. Seems like he was content with killing the fight and destroying Pac's name.
