The doubleheader tourney dates are great but if it's not possible Showtime should at least show an undercard. When you sit down to watch some live boxing on tv it should be at least a two hour affair; one fight is just enough..

Is another example of what's wrong with Boxing. 2much politics. As 4 Showtime & The Super 6, can they get a break? HBO just bully's these guys. LolComment

If dude is injured it is what it is. Just gotta give him another opportunity. At least it'll probably be re-scheduled. Cloud-Johnson on the other hand is a different story.Comment

How is it HBO's fault. Maybe it's Dan Goosen's fault for scheduling 2 of his main fighters on the same date. Or maybe...just maybe....Ward is actually hurt? Nah couldn't be.Comment

Wrong wrong wrong wrong.Goossen is behind this, has nothing to do with Ward.
He just isn't gonna let one of his top fighters fight without his support on 4/24
This is just an example of how HBO is trying to savotage this Showtime tournament. They made an opening and gave the date to Arreola knowing that Ward was already scheduled on that day. They knew that Goossen would not be able to reject an HBO offer for Arreola in good faith so he had to do what was best for his man.
HBO deserves the blame for this, they have gone out of the way to schedule fights to compete with the Super 6 dates and they have targeted the Super 6 promoters to create conflicts of interest.
Ultimately this delay will be good for Ward, Showtime and The Super 6 because the fight won't end up competing with an HBO card unless HBO again goes out of their way to schedule something on the resceduled date.
HBO talked about that date MONTHS before Ward-Green was there remember? Ward-Taylor was originally scheduled for April 17th. Back when Adamek signed to fight Estrada, not soon after, this fight was already being talked about for the 24th.
Miranda-Bute/Pavlik-Martinez was April 17th and maybe HBO decided to go against Showtime, but then Showtime moved it back. Personally, Showtime would probably get better ratings on the 24th then HBO would.
Showtime hasn't been afraid of going against HBO unless it's a major event and Arreola Adamek is nowhere near major.
Also, It's pretty ****ing hypocritical of you ****man
Dirrell gets hurt and it gets moved to his hometown, yet there is no peep from you about some boxing conspiracy. Yet, Ward Green is delayed, and all of a sudden it's this huge boxing outcry about how HBO is sabotaging Showtime.
Personally, I don't really thing either injury was a plot.Comment

It sucks that we are having so many postponements in the Super Six. But the fights will still be worth it when they finally happen.Comment
