WTF?! Clottey doesn't make sense !! Explain plz

Clottey said that Pacquiao's punches didn't hurt him. If thats so, why did Clottey stay in defense mode than? Why didn't he open up and exchange? He said he stayed in turtle-defense mode because Pacquiao would otherwise counter punch him. But if the punches didn't hurt it shouldnt be a problem, right?

It doesn't make sense !! Can someone explain plz?

Clottey is full of ****. He says that in every fight. Nothing will hurt that much if you cover up like a ***** all night but he knows that if he uncovers then that **** does hurt

i dont think pac really hurt clottey..well part of the reason IS because clottey stayed in the shell most of the time and the other reason is that pac was forcing him to stay in that mode because he was throwing a ridiculous amount of punches. i believe clottey when he says pac didnt hurt him...but i also believe he probably knew that all those extra punches that were being thrown at him wouldve ****** if he opened up enough.....so i guess clottey felt kinda stuck in a way and im sure 50,000 screaming pac fans also got to him a little..hahaha
