According to Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, if WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman is able to get past Miguel Cotto on June 5 in Yankee Stadium, then Joshua Clottey might be next in line to get a title shot. On Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium in Texas, Clottey was dominated over twelve rounds by WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. [Click Here To Read More]

Clottey needs to move up in weight he had a nice welterweight career i believe he is damaging his body to make 147 he needs to move up 154 if he wants to finish his career of strong he can beat Yuri ForemanComment

this might be the worst combination of styles ever. I wouldn't even accept free tickets to this fight.
I can't see watching this under any circumstances other than someone holding a gun to my head and forcing me to endure what would be 12 rounds of two men hitting each other in the gloves 4 times per round.Comment

That's actually a very good idea for Clottey. I think Clottey is too big and muscular for the welterwieght division. He would have more energy and endurance at 154. Even before I read this article I was thinking he should move up. It will be less taxing on his body and his punch output should increase.Comment

Another fighter who drained himself to fight Pacquiao?
Think about this.
DLH fought at 154 and 150 before going down to 147 to fight Pac (-7 lbs.)
Hatton fought Floyd at 147 before fighting Lazcano, Malignaggi, and Pac at 140 (-7 lbs.)
Cotto went up to 154 right after fighting Pac at 145 (+9 lbs.)
Clottey went up to 154 right after fighting Pac at 147 (+7 lbs.)
Shame on Pac. He's better than this. Take the tests and fight Floyd.Comment
