      This.

I found that really worrying from Pacquiao's perspective. Clottey lead stright right was finding its mark all night. Mayweather is faster and more accurate than Clottey. Pacquiao will need to find a way to counteract that punch or he will be in big trouble against Mayweather.

right but I didn't need pacquiao to fight clottey (or cotto for that matter) to come to that conclusion, like some people on here.

Mayweather should always be able to beat pacquiao based on styles & skill (although that doesn't necessarily mean he will ).

I don't know man, I've always been a guzman fan so part of me wants to believe the first fight was a fluke and guzman didn't fight the right fight, or the broken nose or whatever was too much to overcome.

The other side of me tends to believe that guzman is a bit past his best days, and that maybe his lack of training and/or his blowing up between fights over the years have caught up to him and he's lost a step or two.

On top of that funeka is just too damn big for guzman, he would always be a difficult fight because of his size and style. it's hard for any man at 135, especially if you don't have knockout power, to beat a guy like funeka.

I guess you did not watch PBF vs JMM!...PAC won less rounds against than JMM and JMM couldn't even win 1 against PBF....talking about common opponents. And if you are going to say it was because of the weight, think about ODH, which i wouldn't compare as the same fighter, and Hatton undefeated...

Juan Manuel Marquez looked small against Diaz and struggled with Casamayor and had to jump two weight classes on top of that to fight Mayweather.. That's the reason the performance. Mayweather couldn't even knock him out and Pacquiao had Marquez hurt more than Mayweather did.

FMJ would beat Pacquiao based on JMM vs MP fight. JMM is a good counter puncher and a good boxer, and FMJ is a great boxer and counterpuncher.
                  8 rounds to 4(my prediction)

Clottey fights NOTHING like Mayweather. They are both defensive, sure, but completely different. So for those people who say "look how easily pac beat a defensive fighter" or "clottey landed right hands and uppercuts all night" as some sort of proof that pac would win or lose against floyd are simply being idiotic.

Further, pac's strategy against Clottey would not be the same strategy against Floyd, obviously.

It's stated over and over and over on this site yet still some of you still don't understand that styles make fights. Clottey's style is nothing like Floyd's, nor is Mosley's like pacquiao (yet I'm sure after May 1st there will be hundreds of threads about how the results of shane/floyd will be proof of how floyd/pac will end up). You cannot draw comparisons from guys who fight nothing like the guy.

Agreed, nothing can tell us how Mayweather vs Paq will end except...Mayweather vs Paq.
