Mayweather, on paper, has a proven history of ethically cheating. He had a severe weigh advantage over Juan Manuel Marquez. JMM is known for his Featherweight and Lightweight battles.
i agree. the stipulation was coz of that fight. A LOT say it's ridiculous on manny's part for asking for it but it doesnt seem so ridiculous to floyd coz floyd knows damn well he has no problem making that weight. matter fact, he never have. the stipulation benefits pacquiao so floyd will have no advantage. floyd agreed in a heart beat coz making that weight is no problem to him, especially with the penalty behind it.

if JMM carried his speed and power like pac did he wouldve had landed something of floyd regarding the weight issues...

fight night i bet floyd was around 155-160 where JMM was probably 147 or so..JMM didnt find a game plan to work around floyd shoulder movement..where in a southpaw he wouldnt do that..

just because ppl had pay to see it doesnt mean it was a big fight.
prime tyson could make a breakfest on PPV, and im sure it would outsell 90%of the fights today.
it was a none title fight, floyd used marquez has a warm up fight for something bigger.
i dont think the 2 LBS did make such a big difference anymore, especially after marquez moving up 2 weight classes anyway.
btw. i still think de la hoya vs pacquiao fight was even a bigger joke.

i believe marquez was even happy to get the extra 600.000$ for getting his ass whooped.

He went over a catch weight, not the welterweight limit. There's a difference. Even if he went over the weight limit, he still paid the penalty. Point is it was a welterweight fight and JMM signed his own death certificate to fight. They imposed to a catch weight to make it a fair fight but everyone knows JMM did it for the money.

He may have had hope to win but he didn't realize how good Mayweather was till he got in the ring with him.

Mayweather went over the contractual weight, if JMM didn't want to fight, he should've called the fight off, plain and simple. Again, he did it for the money.

Clottey blows up 10+ pounds over night before the fight. How much does Mayweather gain? Exactly.

i agree on the warm up, but dont say its a joke on pacquiaos part, if anything it's a joke on de la hoyas part. pacquiao jumped up 2 weight division just that fight, dont tell me that was a joke.

i've been blowin on my blunt. what reason is that? how the fcuk can you say coming over weight is NOT cheating?! you're the dumbass. TS point is that mayweather did go over weight which is cheating, thats why the stipulations was set. jmm is not coward and will not back out of a fight, and you blame him for that. fcuk! SLAP YOURSELF!

de la hoya was a drained zombie, he didnt fought for 7 years at 147 ffs.
he was a test for pacquiao, they just wanted to see if pac can handle big fighters in the welterweight divison.

i agree he was but nobody knew that til pacquiao actually made him look like that. it wasnt pacquiaos fault he was weight drained, hasnt fought in that division in years. pacquiao just took the challenge which turned out a no challenge. from de la hoya, cotto, and clottey, i think clottey was the ultimate welter he has face for the challenge.

but its all about pac vs the winner of floyd vs shane
