    Pacfans and *****s

    Both sides must know this.

The 10 million dollar per pound penalty is because Mayweather came in over weight against Juan Manuel Marquez. He paid a 600,000 dollar fine for that.

Pacquiao has no proven history of cheating.

Mayweather, on paper, has a proven history of ethically cheating. He had a severe weigh advantage over Juan Manuel Marquez. JMM is known for his Featherweight and Lightweight battles.

How is going over weight cheating? Even after the official weigh in, he doesn't come in as heavy as Clottey.

The fact of the matter is, catchweights are bull**** and imposed to create some sort of fairness. I'm a fan of JMM but if he could barely make 144lbs. he really shouldn't be fighting above 140lbs.

You are ducking and dodging. The contract was for Mayweather to come in 145 or lower. Mayweather pulled a Castillo. Castillo was practically bashed for coming in over the contractual and division weight. Catchweight or not, Mayweather was over the agreed upon weight and he paid a $600,000 fine. Fines are for the guilty.

ppl forget that 10 million or 100 million penalty doesnt really matter cus it does not affect the boxer's training. floyd will train like he wud usually do for 147 limit

it wudnt cost floyd a single cent cus he has yet to come over 147 limit ever.

Are you serious? I can't believe I missed that.

In boxing, wrestling, mma, karate, etc.

Being over the standard weight is cheating if the fight resumes. Unagreed weight advantage.

A very unbiased thread by a very unbiased poster, NOT! It was part of both Pac and Floyd contracts to asked for their demands. As ridiculous as Pac 10 million dollars request was, he had the right to asked for it, and Floyd had the right to refused even though he didn't. Floyd asked for his request that both he and Pac should take the Olympic random drug test, Pac and team didn't refused to took it and they had no problem with it, but weeks later they came out with all kinds of excuses and wanted to set their own schedule testing, but they aren't allowed to do so because that type of testing can only be taking randomly. Both sides are to blame, but Pac and his team are more to blame since they agreed to took it and said they'd only needed 5 days to recovered.
