Did Trinidad over-trained for the Winky fight?

In a recent interview with Trinidad Sr. he said that Tito did over 300 sparring rounds in preparation for the Winky fight...Is that too much or that's the average?

Also I've heard that he was moving the wrong way (to Winky's right) is that true...and if you were in his corner that night what would you have told him to do?

Honestly I think it come down to styles and Wright was all wrong for Tito.

Trinidad was shot when he fought Winky, his drive was gone, anybody could see that, he didnt look in shape at all.

Trinidad was supposed to move to his left, not Wright's left. This way, Wright's left would have been out of reach and the only weapon that would have been useful againt Trinidad was the jab. No one-twos would have connected on Trinidad's face. Also, Tito would have been giving him angles and landing his jab while always keeping Wright out of position. De nada, tipo. I ain't no boxer but know things like that and noticed how bad of a job Trinidad Rodríguez did when I saw the fight for the second time. That was a terrible moment. You don't have to be an expert to notice that Plan A was not working and something else was needed. Trinidad Rodríguez sucks!

Well there was not to much body to punch at...the only place was right on the belt....He should have used the uppercuts, I didn't see one...

Trinidad had to move to Winky's right side, use a consistent jab, throw some hooks to the liver with several straight rights, and most important, try to score points instead of trying to knock Wright's head off! That defense is just too much.
