This is a very interesting fight, Spadafora at his best was very, very good and I think he's with the right trainer now in Whitaker, their styles should mesh pretty well. If Spadafora is anywhere near as good as he used to be he might be able to upset Alexander.

it doesnt work that way. bradley's had the better competition.Lets compare title fights of alexander/bradley: Alexander/callist: alexander scored two knockdowns won udec. Alexander/d.corley: alexander won every round udec. Alexander/witter: alexander tko 8 round Alexander/urango: alexander ko 8round Bradley/witter: bradley 12 rd dec. Bradley/holt: bradley was dropped twice won by dec. Bradley/peterson: bradley 12 rd dec. Based on both fighters resume :Alexander is #1, Bradley is#2 at 140
callist and corley (at that stage of his career) were c- level fighters.Comment

Khan wouldn't. GBP wouldn't either. Spadafora's a good choice, would be good experience for Devon, but I'd still rather see a Judah fight though. And in the future when it seems like Devon and Bradley aren't trying hard to fight each other, I hope no one starts with some ducking non-sense. This is all being planned by HBO, who would rather build the match-up for a while.Comment

Wow. I want to see Spaddy get meaningful fights again but why is Alexander and his people dancing around the better fight at 140 against Bradley? First Judah and now this. Come on Devon you gotta beat the man to be the man and that aint happening unless you fight him,Comment

Now that Judah is out of the running for the Alexander fight, maybe Bradley and his people stop the bull**** and trash that fight with Abregu and go for Judah. Bradley-Judah would be a bigger and maybe better fight that Bradley vs. Abregu (no-name). Personally Im not about all this build up **** because it only seems to lead to fights not happening. Bradley and Alexander might never be mainstream or big names outside of boxing. Neither will probably be able to carry a ppv on their own and unless they fight people like Pacquiao and Mayweather they'll stay where they are at in terms of publicity. The fact that Alexander can most likely put 10,000- 20,000 plus asses in seats in St. Louis is good enough for a big fight against Bradley. I could see if Maidana and Khan were lining up to fight either of these guys but they aren't so they should move on. Also I'm not exactly onvinced that Juan Manuel Marquez wouldn't go for a shot against Bradley. Anything besides that bull**** they are trying to put on HBO at the end of June.Comment
