Iran Barkely was not a bad fighter. He was a big, strong, prime, top mw fighter at the time. Don't get it twisted that version of Barkley was better than the version of Oscar that Pac fought, was better than Clottey, was better than Hatton, was probably even better than that version of Cotto. Duran going from Bantamweight to Middleweight and beat a guy like Barkey it says how great Duran really was.

And, yea Duran lost to Hagler. But, Hagler was a beast IMO in the top 3 greatest MW of all time. And, Duran was past his prime and at his best at LW and was fougth well against Hagler. So that again speaks for itself. Not once has Pacquiao ever ever ever ever fougth a guy as good as Hagler.

Have done this at the end of their career.

i see what you are trying to do & try to discredit pacquiao using the number 45. As if the number of 45 fights is the cut off point for fighters to genuinely move up in weight & still win backed by medical & steroid studies.

        GTFO with that ****.

There's been plenty of boxers who moved up in weight & were successful.

Tommy Hearns ko'd roberto duran at 154 in his 40th fight. In his 53rd fight he beat a undefeated 30-0 virgil hill at 175.

Vinny Pazienza started at 140 beat lloyd honeygan in his 38th fight weighing in close to middleweight.

Dwight Muhammad Qawi what started at 168 ended up fighting at lightheavyweight beating matthew saad muhammad 2x, went up to cruiserweight ko'd undefeated piet crous beat leon spinks, took on evander holyfield, & even george forman.

tony canzoneri won his first title at featherweight fought as low as 118. beat hall of famer lou ambers for the 135 lb title after he had over 100 fights.

Young Stribling started at featherweight won as a lightheavyweight & heavyweight after plenty of fights.

Henry Armstrong fought for the middleweight title with over 100 fights already while holding the welterweight, lightweight, & featherweight title.

        I could keep going.

there's been plenty of boxers who moved up in weight & were successful & ko'd opponents. TS is trying to discredit pac with the "name a fighter who moved up after 45 fights stipulation bull****."

With all due respect Sugar Ray Leonard is a million times better win than Hatton, ODLH or Cotto.

          Just sayin.

But Pac DOMINATED opponents like Cotto, Hatton, Clottey.

Duran just beat SRL. Very evenly matched on the night.

What Pac is doing is not the same as what Duran managed to do.

                SRL>Cotto, Hatton, and Clottey.

                Pac would lose to Leonard.

Duran would dominate, dominate, destroy Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey...

You can not compare those three to SRL man...

What do you mean "just" beat?

Duran would beat Hatton, Cotto and Clottey in 3 back to back days.

                  Leonard would too.

                  Theyd also both beat Pacquiao.

No, Duran wouldnt destroy Cotto, Hatton and Clottey. Duran couldnt destroy kirkland laing, so im not just going to give Duran wins just like that.
Pac would have beat Leanord. SRL never shut out opponents who were supposed to be great threats to him.
