Mayweather would've had a much tougher time with Clottey.

Punch output.. it's what made Pacquiao dominant the hole night. He never let Clottey get off. Mayweather throws around 30 punches a round. It wouldn't have been enough to keep Clottey off of him. Anyone hating on this win is lying to themselves. Cotto struggled with Clottey, Margarito struggled with Clottey.. Manny came in and dominated him. It's a true testament off just how good his skills have improved and how great he has become. Mayweather would've beat Clottey.. but it would've been a close fight, not a landslide decision.

Don't think it would've been a close fight. Mayweather would be on the defensive, most of the time, and just potshot. Even if Clottey chases him, I'd see Mayweather winning with ease.

yea. mayweather would've also expended a lot less energy than manny to get the same result.

Mayweather would have won a close decision in a boring fight. Two counter punchers, Mayweather would be on the back foot and Clottey would be leading. Clottey is an excellent counter puncher and he would certainly let his hands go, but Mayweather would make the adjustment.

Pacquiao beat Clottey in the most impressive way.

I would have confidently predicted 120-108 on all cards for Mayweather. I would even bet real money on that although the odds would have been double what it was for Pacquiao, maybe 16-1.

absolutely nothing stopped clottey moving his fists towards manny except himself.

ffs manny stood there in an identical pose, with hands up and did clottey throw ?

he came to show that pacquiao couldnt demolish him, nothing more.

Styles makes fights bro. You cant compare what someone did to a fighter when they fight nothing alike. Floyd doesnt fight like Pac. I thought people knew this.

Floyd would win a 8-4 type of decision.

I would call it more styles than skills. Manny is very good at getting in 4-5 punches and then getting out of there.

You're underestimating Floyd smh. Adjustments are the key to winning and he would of adjusted to shutout Clottey.
