  • ike ibeabuchi vs. vitali

what if ike didnt go to jail and face vitali presently, who will win?

ike is the sort of fighter that vitali has not faced, and that's a guy with good power, above average/good hand speed, good chin, and a relentless punch output, i think he would lose the first few rounds but finally get to VK and possibly knock him out late in the fight, Ike KO 11

Ikes pressure, power and solid chin would be too much for the tall stiff punching Klitschko.Ike would stop him on cuts,or cut him up and stop him by the middle rounds.

        Tyson KO1

but seriously, that would be a good fight...I can't imagine someone like Ike who took those shots from Tua and still standing in the end being stopped by Vitali...Ike can crack, good speed, determination...Vitali can be pressured into a brawl like we saw vs Sanders and can get hit if the opponent is fast enough and willing to get at him...

Vitali uses his reach and height well when avoid punches and he throws odd punches from various angles...

this is a tough one, but I would go with Vitali only because we have seen more from Vitali recently

Ike by KO. Ike's handspeed was phenomenal for a heayweight his size & is still the only man to KO Byrd. VK wouldn't know what to do against a hard hitting pressure fighter like Ike & would definitely get his chin checked.

neither man has fought someone like the other...

so it is not only Vitali vs someone like Ike which he has never faced before...but Ike vs someone like Vitali which he has never faced before...

and you said vs present Vitali who has already been through a few big fights...

Yeah...Vitali would present Ike many problems too especially since he can take a good shot and he is economical on the outside with his punches.

Ike had all of the makings to be an excellent HW. Great chin, good stamina, good power, good handspeed, etc etc. The 2 things I thought stood out about him the most however were his ring intelligence and ability to effectively throw punches in combination. Ike had a good jab and threw straights and follow up hooks behind it efficiently. He showed that he can be patient as well by figuring out a smart, quick Byrd and detonating that well placed uppercut on his chin.

I think that the Ike who beat Byrd and Tua would stop Vitali late or take a decision in a good action fight.
