Last nights commentary was a mess. We had Lampley go into a barking attack, Stewart go into a tirade and Kellerman well, remain Kellerman.

I'd like to see Antonio Tarver replace Max Kellerman.

Tarver's comments are more balanced and informative. Unlike Max, he has social tact.

Did anybody else miss having Larry Merchant's comments last night?

I find he's much wiser, more tactful and a much better interviewer than Max Kellerman.

Max always comes across as an emotional fanboy who's in over his head.

Lampley ran out of **** to say during that one round and just kept yelling "****" every time Pacquiao threw a punch..........

That being said, Merchant is fun, but no more credible a boxing announcer than Kellerman. Neither of them have 'boxing credibility', and Emmanuel Steward was actually trying to say Clottey was winning the fight for a few rounds.

Gus Johnson/Al Bernstein/Steve Farhood would be a superior 3 man team

Kellerman always seems to either nuthug or bash/discredit the fighters.

He doesn't seem to be able to make balanced, objective comments.
