HBO should have Larry Merchant work the big fights

Did anybody else miss having Larry Merchant's comments last night?

I find he's much wiser, more tactful and a much better interviewer than Max Kellerman.

Max always comes across as an emotional fanboy who's in over his head.

i think that's the case he lacks professionalism and he's not objective at all and he goes and kisses people's ass when he feels like doing it which is an example of his unprofessionalism

Larry is an all time great and I agree. If it's true that HBO is trying to phase him out then they truly are making a mistake. LM has many fans and he was perfect at what he did. My boys and I always look forward to LM calling the fight and we were let down not to see him there last night. Planning on writing to HBO about it.

I often wonder if Max is on drugs, or is he just manic?

He's lacking social common sense, like a person on drugs or someone with a mental illness. He has those strange-looking "******* eyes" as well as those nasty herpes scars on the corner of his mouth.

I often wonder how he got the job with HBO. He clearly isn't suited to it.
