Something needs to be done about these PPV undercards

They are absolute **** now. Last night's card was horrible. Although it is not the worst ever it was pretty bad. I had a hard time staying awake through the thing. 50 bucks down the drain. I really hope Mayweather-Mosley has a solid undercard because i very close on making a decision of not ordering fights anymore.

Top Rank always puts on bad undercards, no surprise there. Honestly, the fights don't even mesh it's that bad. We get better fights on ESPN2 for crying out loud! Anyways, Mayweather/Mosley should have a better undercard. GBP doesn't do an amazing job with undercards but at least they somewhat try.

As bad as they are I remember Arum complaining how the general public is always “bitching” about his undercards. Maybe this fight will be his wake up call.

I 100% agree with you. They need to have good undercard fights and they need to hype those as well as the main event. If people don't know anything about the undercard fighters then they have no interest. People sit around and just wait for the main event. That stadium was packed and boxing really had the chance to shine. Thats the problem with these in house promoted cards. This is the best Top Rank could come up with. Last night was an embarrasment to the sport I love. It figures they had goofballs like Dana White there and they had to have one of the ****test cards in awhile.

I keep thinking they should put a lower weight, 126 or under championship fight on these undercards.

Reason being, they are relevant fights, and they don't have to pay the guys a ton to get them on the show.

Just get Duddy off of ppv forever.... or let him fight Chavez jr on some wack ass ppv.

Plus putting lower weight champs on ppvs gets them exposure.

No... something needs to be done about Top Rank's ppv undercards... GBP has done a good job a putting together good undercards for their ppv the last couple years

I thought the fights had potential to be pretty good. You would think the most visible fight of their careers, they would push themselves to the limits.

Instead all 3 winners just barely did what was needed to win.

I agree, Bob Arum could have done better.

I thought the Soto-Diaz fight was okay, but I'm tired of watching Duddy and I hope he's not on future PPVs.

The Gomez-Castillo fight was depressing. It was sad to see a formerly great fighter who's now old and shot getting beaten up by someone who's below world-class.

Golden Boy hasnt put much better cards either. The Mayweather-Marquez card was pretty solid I'd say but you all forget about De La Hoya-Pacquiao, that had arguably the worst ppv undercard of all time. I think there was like 10 minutes of total boxing on that undercard.

Pacquiao-Hatton wasnt that much better. THat one was pretty bad as well.
