What I Saw And Think....

floyd most of the time will adjust to a clottey like defence(with movement and counterpunching added) against southpaws
Mayweather doesnt block punches, He makes you miss by leaning back with his right hand guard his chin ready to counter punch and his left guarding his body with his eye open ready to pick you off.
He also moves alot which makes it difficult to pin him down and land on him, So yes Manny would be fighting someone totally different in style than he has been use to for a while now.
if he were to use the shoulder roll like your suggesting against pac i'd laugh my head off as he is taken apart and stoppedComment

No argument from me regarding Manny fighting a different style then he is accustomed to, my point is Floyd could not win this fight by pop-shotting on the outside alone; Manny’s work rate would not permit it.

To add to this, many people think that Manny’s style of aggression plays right in to Floyd’s hands with previous opponents Floyd has capitalized on (i.e. Hatton DLH) Manny is a different animal who combines footwork with hand speed and head movement. Simply put Manny is no one-dimensional brawler as Floyd supporters are portraying him.Comment

All i wanted to say really was that freddy said it himself, they look for habits in the opponants game and consistant mistakes and capitalize on them so they practise patterns that relate to the fighters weakness which is why manny does the same movements BUT how do you create these patterns for a fighter that adjusts? mannys last four opponants have been robotic and fight the same way all way through the fight but floyd would change and mix it up imo.Comment

It was a very good performance, Clottey was on the defensive a lot more than I expected. It's clear his goal was to survive and get paid. What Pacquiao did was effective as it gets against Clottey, I don't know why people are bitching. Clottey didn't punch enough for Pacquiao to try and even counter.Comment

Am not suggesting he would be doing the shoulder roll all night, but i have seen him against southpaws with a right guard up and left to cover his body, some of them get through some dont but in boxing you get hit not matter what.Comment

No way would Mayweather just potshot and win IMO, And manny has to be aggresive in other to beat Mayweather especially the fact that Pacquiao is fast and a southpaw..
And anyone that calls Manny a one-dimension boxer arent bright or doesnt study boxing in the right way.Comment

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is going to turn out to be like rounds 10-11 of Cotto vs. Pacquiao.
Mayweather moving and potshotting, Pacquiao getting frustrated, landing punches but nothing solid, the crowd booing.
Skip to the 39:30 mark to see rounds 10-11
