Clottey came to win, he simply couldn't deal with the workrate and speed that Manny brought to the ring.

Pac was always throwing, Clottey has never been one to open up a lot, and if he had Pac was landing most when Clottey did throw at all. Good chance he gets stopped if he throws a ton. Clottey just doesn't have the style to beat Pac.

It’s just not in Clottey’s nature to assert himself when it really matters. The Cotto fight was exhibit-A for this argument.

Clottey respect Pacquiao's power and work rate thats why he never threw a combo and going for a massive defense, he knew the same thing would happen to him if he fights pacquiao in his game

I was saying this on Horus call in show this week, Clottey needed to open up more offensivley to have a prayer in this fight. Sure, it would have opened him up (Clottey) to catch something nasty in return from Pac, but sometimes you have to face the fire. Clottey possibly could have been stopped, but he would have at least given himself more of chance of catching Pac with SOMETHING, instead of shelling up for 12 rounds, and basically getting white washed. Maybe a leopard can't change his spots, and Clottey's transistions from defensive to offensive attacks have alway's been lacking, but damn, you got take a chance every once in awhile. Not taking nothing away from Manny, he did his thing.

Disappointed by that so called "african warrior" who didn't show any kind of determination. His only intention was to not look bad "like the other ones" ( like he said). Wow, he got exactly what he wanted. I prefer to fight like a champion to win the fight like Cotto did than doing the **** Clottey did yesterday. That's a shame a guy with that kind of ability and talent didn't show up for a title fight.

Zab Judah did better in his title fights, he knew how to take risks. That's why Judah is greater than Clottey, who's right now the BIGGEST underachiever in the world.

Should of, but didnt . Clottey can only blame himself, his corner was pleading for this and made it very clear to him that he was losing every round.
