Clottey should have let his hands go and unleash

Clottey was to eager to sit back and defend all night. He should have let his hands go a few times, he didn't even test Manny, i think Clottey could have hurt Manny! Yes we know when you let your hands go to often vs Manny he ends up on top but danm seriously you've got to let your hands go this is boxing. Clottey never really even tested himself vs Manny it was almost he was prepared to lose i think his mindset was all wrong on the night. Clottey let Manny dominate the fight from round 1, if you do this then it's almost certain your in for a long night.

He was scared of the little guy and just thinking about picking up the best pay check of his career.

That makes no sense---if he wins---he gets more money in future fights.

Clottey didn't want to fight, he mind was set to simply survive and go back home with his payday.

With the very little punches he did throw, he actualy did manage to cause some damage to Pacman's face. Its a shame he didn't want to throw.

Don't know about that...I think Clottey wanted to win..he just wasn't prepared for pacquiao's movement...he looked like a damn statue out there trying to pinpoint Pacquiao's next position.

I know what you mean, and though I agree, I think there's a good chance he'd have got knocked out if he had opened up. Plus... you know, it's easier said than done, Pacquiao is a difficult target to hit, he's got such bouncy feet and is constantly finding angles to drill you.

He was more on a shell mode than his fight with Cotto otherwise he'd pay the price.
