first off Clottey is not a black fighter, he is a black(as hell) african fighter - pac looked devastating, but he did get hit alot. The thing that people have to realise with mayweather is that - 1) he doesn't run - he stays in the pocket - pacman fans love to say this man runs but you guys need to youtube some of floyd jr's fights. 2) he is one of the most frustrating fighters to fight - he keeps a poker face, very well conditioned 3)he makes adjustments on the fly, not a round or 2 later - like a player coach so to speak. Roger is more of a cheerleader damage controller, keep in mind player coaches are the michael Jordans / kobe bryants / magic johnsons / larry birds / payton mannings / tom brady's etc... basically pac will need better defense - his offence is exceptional, but simple feints, shoulder rolls, and head movement will counter pac's assault and once pac gets frustrated its open season on that big ass dome of his. Clottey was frustrating pac along with everyone watching and you could see pac ******** for openings - but im not a pac hater, i love him for the sport and he's a genuine good guy - just my observation guys

If Manny plans on beating Floyd he will have to do better than he did against a stationary opponent in Clottey...much better. Clottey never really opened up and still gave Pac a shiner on his right eye with the punches he DID throw. Also, total punches thrown by Pac, over 1200, and he only landed over 200....ummm, yeah. He only won by punching Clottey's arms and never hit him at all really. The thing about Floyd is he is very good against pressure fighters like Pac because they get in wild punch mode and Floyd is so quick he pops them a few times before they realize they have been hit, then he is out again. Look at Hatton...he was a tremendous pressure fighter, and Floyd crushed him. Also, while Pac is throwing his wild flurry of punches backing Floyd up, he will forget Floyd can fight going backwards and get nailed time and time again. Then he will get that frustrated look on his face again when he gets popped in the face and start throwing more wildly and Floyd will just pick him apart like he did Marquez. Just my 2 cents, but it will not be the cakewalk Pac and Roach think it will be.

@econdon
I'm glad that we agree that Mayweather trying to clean up boxing is BS; my reply was more of a general response to posts I've read on these forums of people saying he's trying to improve boxing by removing doping. I guess I could have found a more appropriate post to quote, it's just yours seemed like an indirect response to my initial post.
As for the rest of your post, I also agree in innocent until proven guilty as far as drug use, and the justice system in general, goes. And its a shame the way professional sports is today that people are guilty until proven innocent is the defacto standard of belief.
That leaves the fans to pretty much assume any athlete who excels at what they do dopes up. Can random testing alleviate this doubt? Sure, until the next undetectable designer drug is exposed/revealed to the public by an anonymous insider. Then all that random testing would be meaningless as a new reason for an athlete's artificial prowess can be attributed to this new drug. And doubt is placed in the minds of fans again. Because sure the athlete took the random testing, but cream and clear 2.0 (or I guess it's something called a-side meth based on what I've read elsewhere) was undetectable at the time of testing, so he could have been on THAT instead. Asterisk up another record. Anyway, I'm just rambling now with no point really. It's just a sad state that's sports is in today if this is the mentality we hold towards our sports "heroes".
Anyway, I also agree on your final statement that we need to stop talking about this and that Floyd does has a tough fight on his hands. Should be a good match.

Just some food for thought.
Why did the talks of Pacquiao using PEDs only start when Mayweather start talking?
Where were all the naysayers of Pacquiao before the **** talking of Mayweather. Nobody questioned the skill and heart of Pacquiao until Mayweather. What makes what Mayweather so incredibly rock-solid and substantial that it changes the minds of so many boxing fans.
