i just read your signature...i'm trippin over "Tszyu over Hatton by brutal mid-round KO, then Manchester over Tszyu via a brutal beer-motivated mugging"
Yeah Tyson looked like a glazed doughnut during his ringwalk vs. Lewis....Evander had the same look last year during his ringwalk vs. Larry Donald, he looked lost and out-of-focus

Any comments about the boxer's record, who the ref is, who the judge is, that's all left to titles and the commentators. It's a straight ring entrance, ref's instructions and that's it, straight on.

I can appreciate them having to introduce the current heavyweights, but is skipping all the pre-hype better, do you think?
I'm talking rubbish here, the introductions are omitted on archive fights, aren't they? Just got to Frazier-Ali II and it's on there. It's still not as overblown though.

I strongly disslike it when they have the national anthems (people singing in the ring).

That does my head in... I'm thinking - "JUST GET ON WITH THE FIGHT!!!"... LOL!...
yea i dont like the national anthems either.i think the people know their anthems already and dont need 20 minutes of singing in the ring.another thing i dont like is fighters taking 20 minutes to get to the ring dancing to their ring entrances.i say just get to the damn ring.i have always been a fan of prince naseem but hated that it took him 40 minutes to get to the ring dancing like an idiot.they should get both men to the ring announce their names and say fight.

the anthems are a little much for every event...I think it is something that should probably be done at the very beginning rather than right before the main event...and the introduction of the ref, rules, and judges separately is a little much...they could just show a ticker or something near the bottom during an entrance stating the rules and the names, etc

I wonder if anyone really gives a **** who does the judging anyway? That said, you do tend to recognise names who are dodgy, I guess, but not much else...
