I understand now why ODH wanted no Winky.

I understand now why Oscar wanted no part of Winky. The man is an iron clad defense with a bazooka jab. Winky does fight one dimensional which no one yet can solve. Perhaps a younger faster RJJ could have won on points. Winky's worst enemy is himself, when he gets complacent like he did against Vargas.

Sweet science of a fighter. Purists love him. Most find him kinda boring when compared to the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran.

Anyway, that's my post of the day! Now back to work for me.

I wouldnt necessairly call Winky one dimensional, he fights a traditional style and the way boxing is meant to be fought. Tight defense and strong offense.

Winky can **** if he wants he did it against Mosley.

I call it one dimensional coz I've never seen him throw a 4 combo punch. Never. Granted, I've seen only 5 of his fights and seriously, he never changed his style. That's what I mean about one dimensional. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Ohh I know what you are talking about and it isnt bad because it is effective. It isnt like saying Gatti or Pacquiao is one dimensional, because there styles are bad but Winkys is good.

DLH cant deal with people who fights the same way he does, if you have a jab you will defeat De la hoya.

Yo, Sturm Lover, it's time to stop dwelling on that fight. Sturm could have easily made that fight a fight where the judges wouldn't have a chance to make the verdict, and he could have been more aggressive also, but he didn't....he ****ed up. Now he's fighting guys you and I never heard of. That doesn't seem like the route someone who felt they were cheated would take. But anyway....

...If you think for one second that Oscar De La Hoya would have gotten dominated like Félix Trinidad did, you're dead wrong.

If you ask me Oscar a couple years ago could hang with him. I mean Winky does like to press the action by coming forward, but I don't think he uses his size effective enough.

which would be great for him to fight, but as of now half of them just fought, maybe after sturms next fight he can get one fo them, but it doenst matter if sturm fights anyone one of them guys peopel will say there garbage or old and proves nothing, hell sturm could fight B-hop and they'll say o its B-hop he's old no big deal.
