I share this not to knock Hopkins, who I have mad respect for, but because it's a rare fight some of you may not have seen.

It was agaisnt Segundo Mercado. Hopkins was down twice in this fight, but got up and fought on to a spirited draw.

lol....it seems it isnt going to stop at 2.

its not the actual threads i dislike.

its the space wasted in the non stop boxing section.

i come to this section for non stop boxing. not some crappy
homemade gifs gallery. i know you want the exposure but it
gets annoying wading through post after post of crap.

Man **** what dude is talking about, I have never seen that fight and I don't have time to wait for downloads. The gif was cool with me...

I saw both fights...

Mercado knocked Hopkins down twice...though the second knockdown was questionable..

Hopkins had everything going against him...he fought in Mercado's territory with all of his fans for the title and suffered two knockdowns and still scored a draw...in the last few rounds he rocked Mercado several times and was beating him as one could see that Hopkins was adjusting...

the second fight, Hopkins learned everything he needed to learn and broke Mercado down hard and stopped him I think in the 7th round...

basically it was one long fight...Hopkins began to adjust, then continued what he began to do late in the first fight and did it in the second fight...
