If Shane wants to beat Floyd he should try this gameplan:

Team Mosley knows that Floyd is great at adjusting. So I think the gameplan will be to present something new and different every round. I think Mosley will have his moments but he'll get frustrated. I don't see Shane not getting frustrated because everything he tries will not work. The difference will be ring intelligence and footwork.Comment

that would be a great gameplan..and Im sure ****m and Shane will be working on this during training camp..but its gonna take more than 2 months to develop that ring skill to adapt..and once Mosley gets uncomfortable he will result back to his own ways..I dont see him staying focused..and hes a fighter that gets caught up in the crowd too..which could be his downfall in this fight. I see this fight being a competitive chess match and going the distance with Floyd outscoring him.Comment

This is a good gameplan. But this is not Shane. I think Naz will come up with a similar gameplan but in the end Shane will revert back to his normal aggressive tactics. I dont think any trainer can completely change a fighter in only their second fight with them. Shane is a born fighter. Once you try to get him to outbox someone, he'll feel uncomfortable (Especially against Floyd) and do what he's been doing for years. If I was Nasim My gameplan would be this.
I would back up the whole fight. Make Floyd come to me and take away his countering abilities. Not try to out box him but switch it up and RUN from him so to speak. I would have Shane all over the ring moving NON STOP and when Floyd commits to a punch you better catch his ass. You have to do something to throw Floyd off. Trying to outbox him or maul him will get you embarrassed. Just move , move and move some more. Also 80% of his punches should be jabs to the body and head. Then move some more. It wont be pretty but just keep moving eventually Floyd will have to come forward then try to make him pay. Make it a god awful UGLY fight and hope for a decision. Almost go into Cory Spinks mode and just dont stop moving.
Again not trying to outbox him just try to make him uncomfortable and make him think. Make him the aggressor and counter him. Moving non stop would drop Floyds accuracy way down and would give Shane more opportunities to land. Again doing it this way would make it the one of the most boring and ugliest fights in history but he will have a chance to win a decision with that handspeed. Keep backing up enough and Floyd will try to shoot the leaping left hook if Shane can catch him we'd have a fight. The judges wouldnt know what to do. It would be a hard fight to score. Now can Shane move with his legs. I doubt it.
But standing in one spot trying to outbox him or just trying to maul him will get Shane embarrassed.Comment

lol, nyahahahahahaha that was funny man but burner does make a good argument, if floyd gets a draw because of no punches, he isnt quite a undefeated fighter any longerComment

That's ridiculous to me. Ricky Hatton won 3 or 4 rounds pressuring Floyd and he wasn't half the fighter at 147 even this Mosley is. Mosley will have to pressure, Mayweather will not chase and Mosley isn't good enough to fight backwards. He can use his handspeed to get off combinations, and his strength to ugly the fight up. That's his best bet, and is probably what he is depending on.Comment

Hatton was wrestling Floyd more so then pressuring him with punches. When Floyd decided to wrestle back Hatton was done. Yeah I know he doesnt have the legs or smarts to execute a gameplan that doesnt involve him walking straight at Floyd getting picked apart. That's ridiculous to me.
