Defense: Pacquiao B+ and Clottey B??

Clottey's defense is atleast A- if not A..very few people can cleanly connect on this guy..and like the article stated..his arms are long to he covers up the body and the head nicely..

I have to agree with Eyetalian. Clottey's freakishly long arms go perfect with his defensive style. Can put his gloves right on his head and it goes all the way down to his ****ing belly button. Can't freaking wait for tonight!

Yea fellas, have to agree. i mean i just dont see how you can give clottey a B for D. cotto could barely land any clean shots, even when he had clottey trapped in the corner, most of them were being completely blocked or were grazing shots.

I'd also like to add, clottey has underrated skills in terms of his foot placement and ability to read distance well. you'll see what i mean if you watch his fight Vs. Margarito, he does little suttle movements where he can get away from punches.

When he is in his defensive shell I give him an A. My only issue with him is when he does start throwing punches, he is very vulnerable. He throws with his head completely in the air, so he can easily be countered at this time. If he would working on tucking his chin in, his defense would be completely superb. Its the same as Arthur Abraham's style. They're either on offense or defense. I can't give him an A+ maybe A- or B + overall.
