Calzaghe to help Kessler prepare for Froch!

Lionheart-boxing.dk today writes, that Joe Calzaghe by himself has contacted Mikkel Kessler's camp as enters the final phases of preparations to his super-six fight against carl Froch on April 24.

The danish website quotes tabloid ekstrabladet and states that Calzaghe is to have the role of motivator in the final weeks before the fight.

It's Kessler's advisor Simon Lundt who has the contact to Calzaghe, but Lundt won't comment as of now. Kessler himself is keen on the idea:

"I've just heard it, and I'm quite honoured. If Joe has some tricks and ideas I'd be happy to listen."

It's a well-known fact that Carl Froch and Joe Calzaghe doesn't like each other.

Calzaghe is that desperate. He cannot allow his best win to lose to a dimensional fighter. Kessler was already exposed and abused by a Green American.

I think it's a mediastunt. Calzaghe and Kessler is good friends as far as I know.

If Kessler beats Froch after a war Calzaghe will get a ton of credit as a motivaor/trainer. That should boost his promotional business.

Calzaghe is doing this to piss off/bother Froch. That isn't going to bother Froch though and I highly doubt it'll help Kessler. The fight is going to be what it is.

Kessler wouldn't need helpt to beat Froch anyways, Froch already got lucky against Taylor and robbed Dirrell (and don't think I'm a Dirrell nuthugger because I hate that runner, but he won the fight), it's not going to happen again.
