Yeah, Arum can make magic, but because of how well you described Maragrito's actions (life treatening), he should never be back.

marga-resto deserved to be banned. he hasn't show remorse on what he did. it may be harsh a penalty for him but i think he deserve it.

Do you seriously beleive that Mosley using steroids, is actually worst than a guy using plaster in his gloves. The only reason that Margarito didn't get away with it was because he got caught, but had all the intentions to hurt Mosley (and who knows how many before Mosley) with plaster.

I'm against steroids, and what Mosley did should had received punishment also, but there's no way that you can compare the steroid issue with plaster in your gloves.

In my eyes, both actions deserve punishment.
If you use steroids you should be punish for 1 year, if caught again, then you should be banned for life.
If you use plaster or get caught trying to use, you should be banned for life.

What Luis Restos did, and the consequences of his actions should had teached us on what should not be tolerated in the sport. Harsh precedents need to be set in Boxing to persuade any boxer to obtain glory by illegaly obtain victory.

Matchmakers for Top Rank Inc. made three fights that’ll be televised before the Pacquiao-Clottey clash, each with at least one Mexican fighter that the thousands of Mexican fans who assemble in Arlington, Texas, can cheer.

The co-featured fight will pit Mexico’s Humberto Soto (50-7-2, 32 KOs, 1 NC) against Chicago’s David Diaz (35-2-1, 17 KOs) in a 12-rounder for the vacant WBC lightweight title. The two 10-rounders that’ll precede Soto-Diaz will match former “Contender” Alfonso Gomez (21-4-2, 10 KOs), of Whittier, Calif., against Mexico’s Jose Luis Castillo (60-9-1, 52 KOs) and New York-based Irishman John Duddy (28-1, 18 KOs) against Mexico’s Michael Medina (23-1, 18 KOs).

Margarito is a controversial fighter, I think this guy definitely deserves to have his boxing lisence renewed in the US, but I dont think he should even be allowed to consider Pac or Mayweather as opponents, nor a rematch with Mosley or a fight with Clottey... Give him smaller fights and make him earn that title shot over again from scratch, this guy cheated. Cant get around that
