Manny Pacquiao IS NOT a JWW or a LW. He is a WELTERWEIGHT. Dead that myth.

lol, doesnt matter how much food he has to eat or how much calories he intakes. pac's a welter, he looks natural there, he may also look natural at 140, but welter is not too big of a chore from what we have seen. it was much, much harder for odlh to come down than it is for pac to move up in their fight. in the cotto fight both manny and cotto looked natural. he doesnt seem like the smaller guy nymore. he's disproven that myth by himself.

I disagree---Pacquiao's body during the Cotto fight appeared unnatural like it didn't suit him...the Hatton fight at 140 looked more natural in terms of the frame and muscle mass. However, I agree when he puts on muscle for WW fights---he is a WW.

Were you not one of those who said that his bout with Cotto was not for the welterweight title?

Are you dense? When did I say that?

It was for the WBO Title and the WBC Diamond Belt.

In 2006 Floyd weighed 146 Pounds both times, no one called him a JWW. Pac like Floyd has matured into that weight class.

By the end of this year Pac would have fought at WW 4 times.

Of course he could come in at the 147 limit, he chooses not to. He weighs over 147 on fight night.

                    • i think his speed, agility, chin and endurance make WW his best weight. however i think he would have absolutely no problem making JWW and if he really wanted to he could probably still make LW, though he would probably be coming into the ring at 145 plus if he could make it. LW may be a bit of a stretch and it is complete moo point since he would never go back down there, but if thats where all the big money and top guys were then yeah i think he could still make it.
