If Willie Pep is so great, which he was. Why isnt he p4 p higher than SRR, or even Ali?
Pac is up there with SRR and Ali. So yes, Pac to beat Pep. Of course im not discounting the possibilty Pep could beat Pac on any given day as well. But thats just me be respectful to Willie, and Pep deserves respect if nothing else.

      Two things:

Top 5 lists usually have Pep, Ali, SRR, Louis and Armstong in no particular order. Then you ask 'if he was so great why isnt he ranked higher then them"? Hes no less then 5. Hes still great.

Where did you get that Pac is up there with SRR and Ali from?

Sorry to burst your bubble but Pac is not in the top 5 10 15 or even top 20 P4P all-time greats.

Pep is top 10 in almost all respected P4P lists.

I have a ton of respect for Manny but he's just not on that level.

Can't compare old skool fighters with todays. Its just too different. They fought more often with less weight classes. No bull**** involved, you fight the best guy and you become the best. I'm dating myself but I miss those days.

Believe me, i have heard it many times. Some people disagree though, and are entitled to their opinion.

In whos opinion is Pac not in the top 20 ATG list?
In your opinion hes not. I would think you might have more credibiltiy if you got rid of your floyd pic.

Look at my avi no Floyd pic at all. And, IMO Pac is not top 20. I have Pac in the top 30 though. And, IMO Pep is top 5. And, TBH some people disagree but I have Pep ahead of Ali... I got Ali at #6... But, that is my opinion...

You must have Greb in your top 5 right. Ali IMO defined the term greatness. He had a special run in and out the ring. I think the impact he left on boxing to go along with the in rig stuff seals him as a Lock for Top 3 let alone Top 5 IMO. But everybodys list is different.

I do have Greb in my top 5, I have him in my top 3 with Armstrong and SRR. then I have Benny Leonard and Pep rounding of the top 5. With Ali at 6 and Langford at 7. But, there is always a case for having Ali in the top 3 or #1 spot.

I have Willie #6 P4P all time behind SRR, Ali,Armstrong, Louis, and Greb. Currently i have Pac #23 on my all time list. Its hard to compare fighters if different eras but the fighters back than just fought very often and for a guy to fight as often as pep and have such a great record 229-11 and he also influence the defensive art possibly as much as any boxer; unless you go back to the bareknuckle days and guys like Daniel Mendoza and what he did 200 years ago.
