I would say Tyson,although I will qualify that by saying that I was around and witnessed Tyson coming up. Liston was before my time,so its a little hard to judge. The 1987-88 Tyson was just awsome. Movement,speed,power,timing. The guy was amazing,had everything including a similar fear factor to Liston.

In short,I think only a handful of heavyweights in history would have been able to live with that,and Liston isnt one of them IMO.

I think Liston is historically underrated. There is a chance he could get blitzed early by Tyson, Mike was so dangerous in those first few rounds, his speed was difficult to adjust to early, but my pick is Liston by late stoppage. Once the pace slowed Liston would take over
