BoxingScene.com was informed that former junior middleweight champion Joachim Alcine (32-1, 19KOs) has signed a co-promotional agreement with Don King. Alcine will still be promoted by Yvon Michel of Canadian-based GYM. Alcine has won two in a row since losing by way of knockout to Daniel Santos in 2008. He wants to fight the winner of the Cory Spinks-Cornelius Bundrage, scheduled for the IBF 154-pound title on March 26. at least king will get alcine a couple good paydays & a title shot but oquendo joining square ring is a ****** move.Roy jones' promotion is a joke! Ask bj flores how many fights he gets & other contenders get all the title fights.Flores now is fighting mma I hear because of a lack of activity.rjj is a joke just like his promotion.although I guess oquendo was lowballing heavyweights with his past promoter & couldn't secure a fight.Comment
