Comments Thread For: Pacquiao vs. Mosley May Very Well Happen, Says Arum

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum says a unification fight between welterweight champions Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley is almost sure to happen if both men win their upcoming fights. Pacquiao defends the WBO title this Saturday against Joshua Clottey and Mosley defends against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 1. During a recent interview with our friends at boxingnewsonline.net, Arum said he likes Mosley because of his non-trash talking personality. The remark is clear he would rather not deal with Mayweather, a fighter who loves to talk pre-fight trash. [Click Here To Read More]

This **** is weak as hell. So he doesn't want to deal with guys that talk trash and that's one of the reasons he won't let Pac fight Floyd? Hell, Hagler and Hearns were at each others' throats in the lead up to the fight. And Mosley can get edgy when he wants to also. I don't think Pac will fight Mosley if he Shane beats Floyd. Arum is talking out of his ass. He knows that the bigger event is Shane and Floyd.

So Muhammad Ali was technically bad for boxing? Roberto Duran's remarks leading up the "Brawl In Montreal" wasn't good? Mayweather's smack talking that helped generate the biggest PPV event in history...is detrimental?

Bob Arum is becoming even worse than Don King, shiiiit do i hate him.

You know what now that i'm thinking about it Pac has a few more options then Floyd.Pac can fight a few more dude's and make money or just retire he is already the fighter of the decade.May after Mosley will be force to take dangerous fight's if he want's money.I don't like this and i hate top rank and the bob father he is what's bad for boxing. He is keeping fight's from happing with his mouth and bizzness tactics. So from me to you bob

The irony here is that Arum talked more trash than anyone during the Pac Mayweather negotiations. He is exactly what he is complaining about.
