no not straight cash. arum gets 28% of pacs purse and considering clottey is like 2nd tier arum prob gets 25%. After taxes, advances, corner, manager, promoter etc gets their slice Clottey will have like around < 300k. the tax bracket for a million dollars/year is like 42%-49%. He took short purses against all 3 of the top fighters he fought. Judah took a huge piece of the license HBO paid for their fight as well which I think was 300k. Dont think for a sec that Judah and HBO gave Clottey even one third of that. That was Clotteys first time on HBO and made him around 50k, a move up from fighting on VS and ESPN for 10k. Clottey just hasnt made enough money in boxing but this Saturday if he will be very well off. I hope he manages his money and makes a few more good purses after this.
