I actually find most people on NSB reasonable, maybe 50 posters are the so called "*****s and *******s". I've discussed with many Pac fans and they have good points and so had the Floyd fans.
Is this considered DUCKING?!?!

Damn, yall know how Manny thinks and feels now. I guess him and his fans have a ONENESS. This love affair is getting kind of surreal in the scary kind of way. I guess if Manny says drink this KOOL AID it would make u just like me then we would have a JIM JONES experience all over again.Actually, no, it isn't ducking. You could call it honesty, although you must also consider that those words were said before Pacquiao was tested at Welterweight. Since he did well against Cotto, Pacquiao said he's staying at 147, and I would put money on it that Shane and him will fight, should Mosley beat Floyd.
If you think Pacquiao himself is afraid of Shane, think again. That's a Roach interview, not a Pacquiao interview. Despite what you might think, Pacquiao is not responsible for what Roach says.
As for ducking, though, nope, it's not what I'd consider ducking at all.Comment

It is certainly "cherry-picking" or paving a fighters legacy no matter how you look at it.Of course, you will hear a lot of excuses made up from Manny fans...."Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."
I'm just asking. I mean, if Floyd or Khan were to do that its considered ducking...
How about when Manny himself said "I will chop down Yuri Foreman to the body",then the very next day he said he sited Yuri Foreman's height as a problem to fight...isn't Yuri less than an inch in height from Oscar De La Hoya? Tell me that this makes sense-lolComment

How often does a fighter move up in weight and immediately fight the best fighter at that weight, damn near never. He wouldnt fight SSM before Cotto because they knew SSM would be a tougher fight, they wanted to see how he would fare first, simple. After destroying Cotto, you can bet your ass Paq would fight Floyd, SSM, Marg, whoever they put in front of him because now they know he belongs at 147. Did Floyd fight the best at 140 as soon as he moved up, no, he fought Henry Bruseles. Did he fight the best at 147 as soon as he moved to welterweight, no he fought Sharmba Mitchell. Expecting Paq to fight SSM before Cotto would be like expecting Adamek to face one of the Klitschkos at heavyweight before seeing how he is going to fare with some average heavyweights first. And before you tell me "what about DLH, he was a welterweight", we all know that, we also know that he wasnt as good as at the time as Cotto or SSM."Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."
