    Is this considered DUCKING?!?!

"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

I'm just asking. I mean, if Floyd or Khan were to do that its considered ducking...

Of course it is, but Pac-fans will spin it so that Roach and Pac can do no wrong and that everyone who disagrees with them must be ****** or gay.

Let's compare the next two big fights and the possible scenarios of Pac and May winning.

Pac outspeeds Clottey mixing it up between boxing and infighting to win a decision: "He fought a smart fight against a bigger fighter thus proving his versatility."

Mayweather outspeeds Mosley mixing it up between boxing and infighting to win a decision: "He is a ***** runner"

Pac goes to war (maybe even gets knocked down) but comes back to win a hard-fought victory: "Pac is a truly brave warrior"

Mayweather goes to war (maybe even gets knocked down) but comes back to win a hard-fought victory: "Mayweather is slipping...look how much he got hit...he got knocked down...He is a gay *****"

Pac destroys Clottey: "Pac is God!"
Mayweather destroys Mosley: "Mosley was old anyway"

However Pac beats Clottey, it will be considered a great victory. However Mayweather beats Mosley will be discredited.

Actually, no, it isn't ducking. You could call it honesty, although you must also consider that those words were said before Pacquiao was tested at Welterweight. Since he did well against Cotto, Pacquiao said he's staying at 147, and I would put money on it that Shane and him will fight, should Mosley beat Floyd.

If you think Pacquiao himself is afraid of Shane, think again. That's a Roach interview, not a Pacquiao interview. Despite what you might think, Pacquiao is not responsible for what Roach says.

As for ducking, though, nope, it's not what I'd consider ducking at all.
