Great to see Mayweather fight the best of his own division for once. But fighting for the #1 welterweight spot once four three years doesn't mean Mayweather has fought everybody. The last time Mayweather fought a top welterweight was Zab Judah.
Judah Top WW??
****,I can't believe how the hype work...
Zab's WW campain is getting tkoed by Cotto and Clottey and that's it.
well maybe he;ll chill out on his hate for floyd now. i mean the fans were mad at him for fighting marquez and everybody said he wouldn fight shane mosely but now he is so if the haters have a logical mind then they will chill out but, if they have the small di.ck rage they will hate him no matter wha he does. anyways good to see ellie have some journalistic integrity for once and not be biased and just report the news.
Well,Floyd fought trough weak divisions his all career(yes,Hernandez,Corrales RIP,Castillo,Judah,Baldomir aren't P4P and great fighters in my book)then,he arrived in the WW and SuperWW division where you had Cotto,Margo,Shane,Winky,Forrest,Clottey close to their prime.
But he fought Fatton,Baldo,Bruseless,Gatti,Judah aka the weaker links, bums for fews and retired.
Now,WWright,Cotto and Margo are shot old,Forrest RIP,Clottey might end his career saturday.
So he's fightin Shane, that's cool,I think Shane is an old fighter, and tough he beat an unloaded, unfocused tailor made Margo,he looked **** against Mayorga like Floyd told us,and he get beat by Cotto and Winky twice.
I want to see Floyd beat P Will because he's only threat in his prime, maybe Martinez and Manny.
Shane look old and punch drunk.
It's not hatin,it's a fact.But I give props to Floyd,he's taking a tough fight,but not the toughest.

I don't like defending Zab but you must of started watching boxing last year.. Zab held every belt at one at welterweight..undisputed champ...u guys need to get a history lesson, I'm not claiming he was a ATG but give the man his due respect!
I wish Floyd was smarter with his retorts.........he should have asked that reporter why Pac can take a blood test 19 days out for the Clottey fight but not take one 14 days out for him???????
maybe because it was required by the state commission?
what the state requires and what floyd requests ain't exactly the same thing.

I can't really argue with ur opinion about weaker foes..but Winky had already moved up and vernon was a part time fighter, so u can't really bring those 2 guys in the argument, Cotto never wanted to fight floyd, I'm not saying he was scared but he wasn't dumb either, he sat ring side and watched gatti get punished and never really pushed for that fight, Now margo on the other hand, I felt floyd could of fought him, but u never know about the money, to be honest u can only fight one person at a time
i also have a problem with you saying chico was weak, he was like 30-0 when they fought, castillo wasn't a bad fighter either, ..who was he suppose to fight? u discredited everyone he fought in the lower weights but didn't give anyone he didn't fight down there, I can go for it at WW but not LW

I didn't say he ducked Cats in lower weights, just they were weak divisions, because guys like Castillo o Chico were in those divisions the bigger names.
And Castillo beat Floyd once in my book.
To me,Floyd is an untested cat,
Manny is X times tested,Morales tested him the 1st fight,Barrera was a test and P4P number 3,Marquez AT 130 is a ****in hard test(good size,tough,fast,powerfull,accuate,smart with a great trainer).
All the guys were P4P in their first meeting with Manny.
Judah,Baldo,Gatti weren't BY MILES.
Maybe Oscar at 154 was his biggest test,or Castillo, but those cats weren't in P4P discussions at this time.
People talk about how many slick fighters Manny has fought...AND FLOYD???
ZAB?
CORLEY?
Give me a break.
I never said Floyd is a duck,I'm not a judge,all I know is around his weight,you had cats like Tszyu,Cotto,Margo,Winky when Floyd was a welter,a younger Mosley,Vernon.
It's the difference between a cat like Mosley and Floyd.
Mosley moved up to fight Winky twice.
He fought Oscar twice,Forrest twice,Margo,Cotto.Floyd dog ****.
Floyd direspected us,with bruseless,Gatti,Fatton garbage tour.
Plus,he ranks him over Ali,Duran,Robinson ect....
I can't stand this clown anymore until he schools Mosley,Martinez,Manny and P Will in a row.
I can't buy his PPV excuses anymore.

Every die hards should critic Floyd.
Just repped you some green K....
I think you are articulate to an otherwise topic of dilemma presented by Floyd. He is a fighter who is that good technically and a master of defense but hasn't really proven it in fighting the top WW...Who has he fought really? You brought up great points.
I am not a Floyd hater...in fact giving him props in his boxing skills and mastery but...but...but.
But to say that he fought "everyone" is not only misleading it is an outright lie. He is like a student capable of dishing out A+ in his creative writing style but not really tackling real issues that matter.
His record speaks for itself....yes, mathematically one cannot be "better" than a "perfect" record than that so far. But if we dig deeper Pacquiao's "lesser numbers" (in terms of not having a perfect record) speaks volumes of who he has fought and the fashion that he fought them as he goes up in weight levels.
Most specially in the last 3 years in the most whirlwind ways...
Thus the inevitable Pacquiao vs Mayweather by the end of the year. This should settle it once and for all and either fighter can retire into BOXING's IMMORTALITY if they win it.
I'm afraid Mayweather would pull the "I'm the face of boxing and king of PPV, I will not go down with at least 60 percent of the share with Manny....Manny needs me!" kind of a thing.
Most specially if Mayweather beats Mosley. (not a far-fetched conclusion at all, but it still remains to be seen). Likewise, Pacquiao has to win convincingly against Clottey.
Mayweather vs Mosley seemed like a sexier fight but the Pacquiao vs Clottey isn't a slouch either.
So the showdown begins when Pacquiao wins Saturday night. (Not a sure thing just yet).
