I wish Pavlik had been a little more honest and just said that the reason for all the criticism he has received is because he's white.I know it,he knows it and so does everybody else know it.


Most boxing ans are white but the vast majority of them also happen to be ******s.They love all the hip hop culture and despise their own skin colour.They see a working class white kid out of a simply working town and somewhere deep down inside,it hits a nerve.



Pavlik will knock out Martinez and whenever Paul Williams,his ****** trainer and his smug promoter shut their yaps and grow a pair,then Williams will also get knocked out.

No I came to that conclusion when I watched him fight.

Im surprised there's so many Pavlik bashers here. What did he ever do 2 any1? He's off with some of his comments but I've heard worst from other boxers. A guy is allowed an off night. Every1 says that's why Paul lost 2 Quintana. Quintana is good but Hopkins is a hall of famer. No real shame losing there. Now Martinez is fast but he's not "Super Fast" & I think Paul is easier 2 hit cleaner than Pavlik. Throwing 100+ punches per round leaves u open 2 be hit a lot. I think Kelly can beat both Martinez & Williams. Paul got droped by Sergio, Pavlik can put his lights out if he catches him. That's Pavliks strength. He can't outbox u & he won't outpunch u. He'll just hit u really, really hard. Better hope u can duck & slip the punches or hope your chinny chin, chin can take the punch.

Martinez beat the **** out of Williams and got robbed.

what fight were you watching? you can make a case and say martinez should have got the"W" but as far as he "beat the **** out of paul williams" thats more than a stretch

I think he had to fight to keep his titles. During the time he had the staph infection he could not train much. Pavlik was in no shape to fight a top fighter when he fought Espinosa.

If you watch the Hopkins fight you can see Pavlik is very tired around round 6. He was throwing around 30 punches a round. Normally Pavlik can throw 80 to 90 punches a round. Just because Hopkins beat Pavlik does not mean Sergio will. Sergio was knocked out at welter weight by a guy with a 60% Ko ratio. Cintron and Williams both hit him a lot also. At middle wieght Pavlik has a 90% Ko ratio.

look lets be real here, before the b hop fight kelly and jack were saying they would be the first to ko b-hop. but hops foot and hand speed and comand of the ring proved to be too much for kelly. b hit him first and often. so know we go from i will be the first to ko him to "check my medical records"? p will ducked him? oh really??????? when he fought gary lockett the goat( and i mean a literal hairy goat) he did not get criticized in fact comentaters said he deserved the easy fight. plus hbo always talks up his young town heritage and how the white city is full of good people who lost their jobs in the auto industry and how kelly is the hero to the people. he gets talked up because he is white and at the time he was destroying fighters. so him being white was a plus in the marketing dept. kelly is getting criticized not for his skin color, but because he talked so much trash about what he and jack lowe were going to do to b-hop and the betting lines had kelly to win also. then he got a boxing lesson. now he's sick and wasnt himself. well i wouldnt be my self if i was getting hit by all those punches. then the p will debacle. it looked like he went from "come one come all" to anybody but him. that cost him credibility. he looked like a coward. his skin wasnt questioned his heart was.

I disagree...Martinez is super fast...he's shown some serious handspeed in his past 4 fights that made me have to rewind to catch it all...this + the movement he uses makes him hard to hit flush...and since he never gases, look for him to be much faster than pavlik in the second half of the fight...especially if Martinez turns up his work rate...pavlik has never been in the ring with a guy this quick...if pavlik goes into tree mode...I suspect Martinez to decorate his ass in the second half...

I lost a little bit of my respect for pavlik.

The williams fight was past due.Miracly weeks later he was cured when williams had a fight secured.


If he crushes martinez in better fashion it raises eyebrows.
