There was only ONE injury, causing the cancellation of the fight and Klitschko's retirement.

I've written before on this, as have many others, so you should have been awayre of the facts. And it isn't my task to educate you, if you'd kept your eyes-and ears- open at the time it was all happening, and could understand it, you'd know exactly what I know.....about this fight anyway.

Rahman was well finished at theat time, and King was trying to get him killed by fighting Klitschko. he was lucky it was cancelled else he might still be in hospital.

Imagine accusing a man, 6'8" with only 2 losses due to injury when well ahead, and with 36 KO's in 37 wins, who has won all but 4-5 ROUNDS max. in his whole career, of cowardice........ This makes me doubt your sanity.

You should even doubt it yourself.

That statement is misleading. Only one loss was due to injury. The Byrd fight where he hurt his shoulder and could not continue. The other was a TKO because his face was torn up from his opponents punches. That is like saying a fighter who gets knocked out lost due to injury only because he suffered a concussion and could not continue. Vitali lost to Lewis. Get over it.

That said Vitali should just let it go. Everybody knows the lummox fight had a controversial ending that should have resulted in a rematch. Fact is that it didn't. It isn't by a longshot the only travesty in the history of our sport.

The WBC designated Rahman as Vitali Klitschko's next mandatory challenger; the fight was set for April 30, 2005. Klitschko injured his thigh while training for the fight, so it was rescheduled for June 18. As this date approached, Klitschko's camp said that the thigh had not fully healed; the WBC made July 23 the new fight date. Soon after this second postponement, Vitali's doctors reportedly discovered back injuries that they said demanded minor-yet-immediate corrective surgery. The WBC pushed Rahman's title shot back again, this time to November 12; Rahman's share of the purse following this match would reportedly be around $4.2 million (U.S.).

After this third rescheduling, Rahman, fought for a WBC "Interim" heavyweight championship and defeated Monte Barrett on August 13, 2005, via unanimous decision.

At this point, Klitschko would be stripped of his WBC title if his first fight back was not against Rahman. On November 7, it was announced that Klitschko had suffered severe right knee injuries during training; the WBC said it would strip him of the championship if he was unable to box within 60–90 days of a soon-to-be-announced base date. However, on November 9, Vitali Klitschko retired instead. On November 10, 2005, the WBC voted to award its heavyweight championship to Rahman, making Rahman a two time heavyweight champion.

In all honesty, maybe Klitschko was being honest. But for those that remember, didn't it sound like some serious BS? It still does today. Four times? Right.

So you honestly believe that he faked those injuries, recieved unnecessary surgery just to make it 'appear' legit. Then retired and recieved multiple other surgeries unnecessarily in order to make people believe he was injured & all so he could avoid Rahman.

I dont think Vitali was telling the truth, He never wanted to fight Rahman because they(Klitschko) do not like dealing with Don King, So here we have a Don King fighter and if Rahman was to cause an upset there would have been no way back for the Klits with King at the Helm.

So they use the "injury" to duck the fight.

Another funny thing is why Vitali was supposely "Injured" and "retired" he was calling out Lennox lewis all the time...How was a retired injured fighter be calling out another fighter when he was supposely injured and had to cancel his last fight 4 different times??
