Comments Thread For: Team Devon Alexander Eye Judah For July, Then Bradley

One champion down and two to go. Last Saturday in Connecticut, Alexander retained his WBC junior welterweight title, and added the IBF title to his collection with an impressive eight round knockout of iron-chinned Juan Urango. The stage is set for a possible fight with Zab Judah, who jumped in the ring and challenged Alexander during his live post-fight interview with HBO. BoxingScene.com spoke with Alexander's manager/trainer Kevin Cunningham on Tuesday afternoon. [Click Here To Read More]

Sounds good. Judah is still a name. Is not fight that I expect Alexander to lose. I think Judah is done. But, a win over Judah makes Alexander name bigger. So it makes sense and then to target Bradley is nice little build up.

Judah hasn't fought below 147 for years, I think dropping in weight now would be a bad move. But I guess he isn't going anywhere anyways.

Devon has made a recent career fighting fellow southpaws- DeMarcus Corley, Miguel Callist, Junior Witter and Urango. Four in his last seven. Pretty good, and he's getting good against them too.

                thats a good move.

Judah/Alexander in St. Louis would be a BIG fight in terms of attendance and hype in St. Louis. This would be good test to see how well Alexander does with speed and power because Zab is highly effective at 140.

But Alexander would have the mental edge as Zab is his own worst enemy after 4 rounds.

judah is a dangerous fight.... for about 5 rounds. I don't care for Judah, but I'll watch it.
